A first half Kieran Fleetwood penalty was not enough to keep Dock’s hopes alive in the 4th round of the Sunday National Cup. Kieran’s penality put Dock 1-0 up midway through the first half but North East side Hetton Lyons equalised just before half time with a well taken goal. Dock dominated the second half hitting the woodwork on two occasions but were unable to put the ball in Hetton Lyons’ net. The visitors scored two magnificent goals on the counter attack giving Dock goalkeeper Paul Roberts no chance. Final score Dock 1 Hetton Lyons 3
