It was again the problem of missed chances and fine goal keeping that saw Dock dumped out of this years Houlihan’s Memorial Challenge Cup. Shaftesbury 02 fully deserved the win with goals from Dean Stewart (2) coupled with strikes from Paul Jackson and Alan Mortin. Dock’s consolation goal was scored by centre forward Gary Reay.
