Dock leapfrogged Houlihan’s VC to second place in the league after a hard fought game at Levers Sports Ground. Dock started the scoring on 4 minutes through a well taken goal from Paul McDonnell, Kieran Fleetwood missed a penalty on six minutes and the visitors equalised on 22 minutes. Mike McGraa scored the first of his brace on 27 minutes only to see the visitors bring the scores level just before half time. The visitors took the lead on 53 minutes through a penalty when Dock player Darren Blythe was controversially adjudged to have handled the ball in the area. Mike McGraa levelled on 54 minutes then Gary Reay got on the score sheet to put Dock ahead. Mike Saunders scored a 50 yard volley on 80 minutes before Kieran Fleetwood slotted the ball home in the 88 minute to make the final score: Dock 6 Houlihan’s VC 3
