All fixtures on council pitches for this weekend have been canceled without exception. Wirral Borough Council have decided that because of the current weather conditions the pitches would be damaged beyond repair should the matches go ahead. They have decided that in order to save the pitches for the remainder of the season, all matches should be cancelled until further notice.
