Dock missed the chance to put pressure on the teams above them with a woeful display against a strong Penny Lane side. Dock did open the scoring through a fine 20 yard effort from Darren McGuiness, but were then guilty of not taking their chances and finishing off the hosts. Penny lane pulled one back on the half hour mark and then went a goal ahead 2 minutes later. Dock were always chasing the game from then on, and Penny Lane completed the scoring midway through the second half to make the final score Penny Lane 3-2 Dock.
