It was a bad start to the season for Dock as they went down 2 goals to 0 against Beehive at a rain soaked Levers sports field today. Dock had a great chance to take the lead on the 20th minute mark when Darren McGuiness shot wide from a acute angle, when it may have been better to slip the ball to “Gully” who was unmarked at the far post. Sam Pullinger was also unlucky to see his 20 yard effort just miss the target on 30 minutes.
