Woodchurch CC completed a premier league double over Dock at a bitterly cold Levers Sports Ground on Sunday morning. The game was very much like the weather, a very dull and overcast first half which brightened up after the half time break. Woodchurch CC went 2 up with breakaway goals from Chris Whitley and Daniel Watterson before Dock started putting pressure on their defence. Gary Reay pulled a goal back on the 75th minute mark (pictured below) but Dock were unable to bring the game level. The win consolidates the visitor’s position at the top of the table with Queens Park in second place 6 points behind, but with 3 games in hand.
