Another bad day at the office for Dock as they went down 3 goals to 2 against a lively Heygarth side at a bitterly cold and windy Levers Sports Ground. Dock went 1-0 down after only 5 minutes, but managed to bring the game level on 25 after Gary Reay found himself with his back to goal and the ball at his feet, he superbly turned and fired the ball past Heygarth’s keeper (pictured below). Heygarth regained the lead 5 minutes later and made it 3-1 after 36 minutes with a goal that looked suspiciously offside. Gary Reay got his and Dock’s second late on, but they were unable to find the equaliser. Final score Heygarth 3-2 Dock.
