LacyDock AFC with help from Julie Doran and Dave Cagga will be holding a benefit night for the family of ex-player Paul Lacy. Paul and the family have just been given some devastating news regarding son Adam’s Leukaemia, which has returned for the 3rd time.

Adam will once again need intense chemotherapy which will be starting next week, and will be admitted to hospital for a couple of months. Not only does this hit the family emotionally, but is also a big strain financially.

The confirmed date is Friday 7th February and the venue is the Joey’s Social Club, Birkenhead. Top group, The Trunk Monkey, will be supplying the entertainment along with the usual fun and games including Ron’s ‘heads or tails’. Julie Doran will be holding a raffle for a fantastic holiday, which someone in the room will walk away with.

If anyone can help out we are looking for other donations for raffle prizes (contact Chris, Ron or Julie if you can help), and, of course, cash donations would also be very much appreciated.

Tickets will soon be available at £10 each, we do expect the evening to be a sell out so would suggest you get your name on the guestlist as soon as possible.
