IMG_4729After the frustration of the mid week cup final loss to Woodchurch FC, Dock dusted themselves down and got back to winning ways against Wallasey side The Tower. Manager McGraa made a number of changes from Tuesday night as Jamie Kenyon, Ian Brunt and Shaun Homes found themselves on the bench, and, with Josh Dures unavailable, McGraa put in Craig Donaghy, Iggy McGraa, Mark Head and Bernie Holmes, and he wasn’t disappointed.

It was Mark Head (pictured left)who opened the score for Dock early doors rapidly followed by a Gary Reay brace which gave Dock a 3-0 half time lead. Dock continued to dominate in the second half and it wasn’t long before Craig Donaghy (pictured below)got his first of the season with a well taken effort. Gary Reay got his hat-trick to make it 5-0 before The Tower pulled one back after a mistake by Dock’s keeper Paul Davis.

With other results today going Dock’s way, they now find themselves in the driving seat as far as the league is concerned; they have 4 games remaining which they really need to win if they have any aspirations of retaining the BSFL Premier Division Title. IMG_4864
