A goal in each half was enough to see Dock through to their first final of the season against First Division leaders Penny Lane. Dock were 2-0 up when Penny Lane scored the goal of the game on 75th minute mark, however, Dock kept their composure and always looked in control of the tie. On target for Dock were Mike Saunders and Darren McGuinness. Dock will now meet Bidston Hotel, who overcame Prenton FC 2-1 in the other semi final.
