With first half goals from Mike McGraa and Gary (The English Pig) Reay, followed by a brilliant Mike Saunders second half chip over the keeper, Dock were cruising 3-0 up. Unfortunately, Dock then decided to hit the self destruct button as FC Prenton replied by scoring 3 goals through Dock old boy Garath McAvoy (2) and McGraa. Dock had a number of chances to regain the lead but never took their opportunities. Final score Dock 3 FC Prenton 3
