It was certainly a “game of two halves” at a bitterly cold and windy Levers sports ground for this Premier Division derby match between Dock and their Claughton Village neighbours, Brow. The first half was very much non existent with neither goalkeeper having to make a save. However, things changed in the second half when Dock scored 5 without reply to consolidate their lead at the top of the league. On target for Dock were Tony Leasor (53), Ian Brunt (56), Shaun Holmes (58), Gary Reay (73) and Chris Ballard (83).
