Dock left it very late and twice had to come from behind to overcome a spirited Stirrup Sports and Social FC at Levers Sports Ground. The visitors scored first on 20 minutes with a cross which flew over stand-in keeper Mike Stevens head and in to the back of the net. Docks reply was also a fluke on 38 minutes, when Kieran Fleetwood’s shot took a wild deflection sending the keeper the wrong way.

With the score level after normal time, it was again the visitors who took the lead after 13 minutes of extra time. Dock’s keeper Mike Stevens had no chance getting anywhere near a thunderbolt of a shot which blasted in off the crossbar. Then with only 3 minutes remaining Kieran Fleetwood pulled the tie level. With the game heading towards a penalty shoot-out Dock’s centre half Darren Blythe popped up in Stirrup’s penalty area and blasted the ball home from all of 1 yard out, sending his team through to another semi-final. Final Score: Dock 3-2 Stirrup Sports and Social FC.
