Dock produced an emphatic 5-0 victory against Houlihan’s VC at Levers this morning. Both Gary Reay and Darren McGuiness helped themselves to a brace each and the visitors also scored an own goal.

Wirral Hotel 2-4 Dock (Wirral Premier Cup)
Dock’s Gary Reay scored the opener on 20 minutes after the hosts had missed a hat full of chances to take the lead. Wirral Hotel did equalise on 26 minutes but Dock again went ahead through a Matty Carlin header just before half time. Wirral Hotel then found themselves down to 10 men when they had a player sent off for using foul and abusive language while demonstrating to the referee that he though the goal was off-side. Tim Bigland made it 3-1 on 56 minutes before Wirral Hotel pulled one back just after the hour mark. Gary Reay missed a penalty on 84 minutes, but made amends a couple of minutes later by scoring his second and Dock’s 4th to make the final score: New Ferry Wirral Hotel 2-4 Dock.
