With the trophy cabinet empty for the first time in 8 years, Dock only had pride to play for in their penultimate game of the season against high flying Shaftesbury Youth “A”. Shaftes took the lead on the half hour mark with a superb 30 yard left foot effort, but Dock would not lie down and took the game to Shaftes. Dock got their rewards in the second half with goals from Mike McGraa (2) and Timmy Bigland to make the final score Shaftesbury Youth “A” 1-3 Dock.
