Over the last few weeks me and my mates (Team Cake) have been doing a bit of bike riding, we did the Wirral Bikeathon (28 miles) then the Liverpool Chester Liverpool (50 miles) but this weekend we’ll be attempting the “Ride For The 96”, which is a 96 Km ride in memory of the 96 fans who never came home from Hillsborough. If any of my fine friends fancy sponsoring me please click here, and remember to mention “Team Cake”. Thanks very much. Chris

A great night was had by all at the Dock’s 2014 Presentation Evening which was held on Saturday night at the Joey’s club.
Tom Charters picked up the Players Player of the Year award, while Martyn Stevenson picked up the Manager’s Player of The Year award, well done to both of the guys.
Entertainment was supplied by the brilliant Pauline Daniels who spent the majority of her act taking the Michael out of The Goose, or should that be The Grouse? However the highlight of the evening was when Chris Barrow took to the stage and performed like a pro, nobody was really expecting that, brilliant!!!
Big thanks to Ron Stading who sold a number of tickets for us and also brought a couple of bottles of Champagne to go in the cup, nice one!!! It was also nice to see a number of the old boys turning up, thanks lads!!!
