Lairds Sports Club 2-3 Dock (BSFL Premier Division)

Dock started the season off with a 3-2 win in a tough game against premier league new boys Lairds Sports Club. Dock were 2-0 up and cruising thanks to goals from Mark Head and Paul Byrne when Lairds were awarded a controversial penalty which Alley Major converted. Billy Foster (pictured below) extended Docks lead midway through the second half before Paul Lee lobbed Dock’s keeper Martin Stevenson to bring the score to 2-3. The home team started to put the pressure on and came very close to levelling the score, but Dock managed to hold on to take all 3 points. Final Score Lairds Sports 2-3 Dock.
