Next Sunday, 8th July, Dock AFC will face Dock AFC Old Boys in a cricket match to be held at St Mary’s Cricket Club, Birkenhead Park. The match will start at 1:00pm, and will be in aid of Adam Lacy who is currently receiving chemotherapy treatment for Leukaemia at Alder Hey Hospital. This is the second time Adam has had to fight this terrible disease, but the good news is he is a true warrior who has fought his way back to remission.
On the day there will be a bouncy castle and a face painter for the kids, there will also be a raffle, and hopefully, weather permitting, a BBQ, a fully licensed bar will also be open.
Adam’s Dad, Paul, is not only a Dock Old Boy, but also a great bloke, so please support the family and join us at this worthy event which has been organised by Paul Davies and Ian Brunt.
