Another who joined the Club last season and with his history was always destined as a 'Docker'. A former Cheshire Youth player who as a schoolboy performed with distinction at Blackburn Rovers and Chester City. Enjoyed a great first season with the Club turning in solid, reliable performances which would normally be expected of someone much older. Definitely one for the future. |

Name |
Shaun Holmes |
| Position |
Defender / Midfield |

Affectionately known as 'Taz' to his friends (if he has any?). Probably the most naturally two footed, versatile footballer within the Club who is capable of demonstrating skills which would not look out of place in football's highest levels but who too often lets himself down when he allows frustration to get the better of him. If he could add consistency and maturity to his game could and probably would have been playing professionally. |

Last year's Players' Player of the Season who was an absolute revelation in his first full season with the Club. Boundless energy, and enthusiasm who launches into tackle after tackle covering every blade of grass. His season last year was cut short by an injury which he is still getting over but has added much needed pace to an ageing midfield. Will hopefully be back to his best very soon. |
