Dono and Brunty put their own positions in doubt as they welcomed a new midfield maestro to Dock AFC. Little is known about the new bloke other than he has been known to play for a team over the water and apparently he has won a few trophies, although it is rumoured that he has never won a league title.
When asked what made him decide to try his luck on this side of the Mersey the new bloke said it was the pull of the National Sunday Cup, and the thought of working alongside one of the games prolific goal machines in Gary Reay.
Hopefully the new bloke will make an appearance at the forthcoming Dock FC Old Arses verses Dock AFC Young Bucks, which is due to take place on Sunday 10th July (venue to be confirmed).
